Grace Academy 格雷斯学校 建立与1976年，是由公立学校退休教师玛丽· 迈克尔创建的。学校坐落在黑格斯敦，占地35亩。该市与其他大城市距离很近，例如华盛顿(80分钟车程)、巴尔的摩(80分钟车程)和匹兹堡(3小时车程)。学校经常会带学生前往马里兰、西弗吉尼亚，弗吉尼亚和宾夕法尼亚等州的山峰、湖泊和历史景点进行参观学习。这样可以让国际学生更好的了解美国的生活和历史。

学校特色：
Grace Academy每年举行几次慈善筹款活动，通过举办赛跑、华盛顿躲避球比赛、拍卖会等来为学生的助学金筹款，资助学校的技术升级或者用于任何相关的资金需求方面。
这所学校是由马里兰州以及学院和学校管理委员会关于小学和中学的ACSI和中东国家协会认证的。该校教师在他们的专业领域都有很大发展，他们定期参加一些专题研讨会，每年在校老师们都要接受教师评估测试，使得学生们的教育质量得到了保障。
学校教室平时特别整洁，走廊也十分亮堂。学校有从3年级到12年级的学生，平时午间吃饭时，学校非常人性化的分了时段，避免出现拥挤现象。
格雷斯学校经常有主题活动，同学们会根据不同的主题装饰教室、设计作品、展示自己的创意。平时宽敞的长长的学校走廊立刻变成了艺术的海洋，走到哪里都能看到同学们天马行空的创作。学校各个年级的装饰都不同， 低年级的教室精致可爱，高年级的装饰简单活泼。学校通过一系列的主题活动，让学生们全面发展。
个人感受：
在访问期间，最大的感受就是学校对国际学生的关心。走访期间，学校陪同老师给我们介绍一位6岁左右的中国留学生，学校老师用英文问他问题，他很害羞的说我听不懂。学校老师说，由于这位“小留学生”年级太小，语言水平也不是太高，为了能够让他适应美国学校这边的学习生活，学校特意安排了年纪较大的中国留学们陪他一起上课。每堂课会有特别的“助教”帮助他。小编问他在学校生活开心吗？他说当然，每天学习都不寂寞，都有哥哥姐姐们陪着我。他的回答让每一位走访的老师都笑了。
格雷斯中学还专门设置了“Big Brother Big Sister”的一对一帮助。一个年纪稍大的同学会带一个年纪较小的同学，像大哥哥大姐姐一样帮助小同学学习成长。从这件事上，我们可以看出格雷斯中学对学生的重视和关爱。

Established recently in 2012, American Homestay Services is a CSIET (Council on Standards for International Educational Travel) certified educational service provider that offers comprehensive support to international students seeking homestays across the United States. With our headquarters based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and branch offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Beijing, we are ideally situated to welcome students into U.S. schools. AHS strives to ensure that children and adolescents are given an authentic American experience by matching students with one of our registered host families. As of the present, our agency has utilized a network of over 1000 host families across the country to successfully serve over two hundred middle and high school age students from abroad. AHS collaborates with over fifty schools in various districts, both public and private, affording students a multitude of choices to suit their individual talents, needs, and educational goals.
